I may be old fashioned (and I repeat myself on top of that!), but for me a picture must exist in a physical way to realize its full purpose and take full life. That’s why I put so much energy, time and love to look for, try and compare different photo products. The purpose of my quest: to find pieces of art that are unique, beautiful and long-lasting AND that will delight my clients.
It is with a huge smile that I present to you our new album, ideal for keeping photos of your newborn for generations to come (and a nice gift to give him or her when he or she is older). In fact, I love it so much, I sit down and open it once a week …. just for the pleasure of turning its pages!
When you want to keep your photos for a long, very long time (like newborn or wedding photos that will be part of your ”family heritage”), it is important to choose printed products that are “archival”. These products are acid free and are often added with a finish to preserve the product from harmful effects of UV and little muddy fingers. Images printed by photographic process are more durable and prettier than the press printed one, for example; the acid-free mats, or better rag” mats (100% cotton), will not deteriorate in the long run, the image they surround, etc..
Our new album is gorgeous! It comes in a a choice of color for the linen cover, pages has rounded corners and a perfect printing quality! Its pages are made with real photo paper mounted on thin acid free panels and covered with lustre finish that protect it from UV damages, dirt and minor scratches. And, not to waste the “wow” effect, it comes in a beautiful custom made boutique bag!
So go ahead and have a look!

Remember my new mini home studio for newborn photography? Well it was very useful! Winter has been busy here. I decided, with the new studio, to purify my style, make portraits that are more natural, organic, in sober colors. I must admit I am very proud of the result, which finally seems perfectly match my own personality. In addition, new parents have responded to the offer very well. I can confirm, therefore, there will be very few small hats and other accessories in my newborn sessions. I want to leave all the room for the natural. Already a few days old, those little balls of happiness have their own personality, their mood and their little favorite poses (and also some uncontrolled reflexes which gives quite funny results).
Our first little princess to visit the new Montreal studio is Arielle …. as the siren. Arielle is the youngest of a family of five. Oh yes! Arielle has four older brothers who are willing to look after her.
Arielle was nine days old at the time of the session, and already it has given us, to her mother and me, our share of crazy laughter and purely delicious images… and looking at her poses, I predict a future ballerina.

Here we are in 2012 my dear friends! First of all, my best wishes to all. May this New Year that begins be under the sign of health, happiness and, of course, love.
I decided to start 2012 with images of Karine’s maternity session done at the end of November. This is not the first time I photograph this beautiful little family. You met them in my article “Go habs go.” I think this mom (for the second time) is resplendent with beauty, but Karine doesn’t like being the center of attention. Especially when it comes to have her picture taken. However, she yielded to the temptation
of a maternity session to keep a great souvenir of this important milestone in a woman’s life. I chose to start with their photos in honor of the little princess who is in that round belly. This little girl decided to make me take a break from Christmas holidays by making her entrance into the great world a week earlier. … So here are my holiday vacations summarized: time with my family, a few novels, some knitting, bubble baths … and newborn photo shoot.
This maternity session is a bit special. This is my first session entirely in Lifestyle photography. These images of pregnancy are more natural and certainly more dressed. A bit different from my maternity boudoir photo shoots. This time, in addition to keeping our clothes on, we even had the audacity to enjoy the mild temperatures for the season to go end this session outside.
I hope you enjoy as much in this new style
